Our client is a leading specialist distributor with many years of experience, and they are looking for an Order Processer to join their fun and supportive team on a 3-month contract.  If all goes well, this could become a permanent position. 

The position is office based in amazing new offices in Stopsley, Luton, Beds

If you are customer focused, great customer advisory skills, with amanzing, accurate data entry and happy to perform the essential role of Order Processer, then this could be perfect for you!

Duration:        FTC of 3-month contract to start asap
Location:        Office based, Stopsley, Luton 
Salary:            £25,300 annual salary - prorated for the FTC
Hours:             8.30am -5.00pm (37.5hrs per week)
Parking:          Free
Holiday:          22 days holiday + bank holiday (prorated for 3 months)

About the role

As an Order Processer you will processing customer orders onto the CRM system efficiently and accurately. The responsibilities include
  • Processing customer orders onto the in-house CRM system 
  • Making outbound calls to customers to resolve any issues or for clarification of information relating to their account/order
  • Organising and coordinating collections and deliveries 
  • Carrying out customer service follow up calls 
  • Handle customer queries and complaints either over the phone or via email 
  • Ensuring the customer information is kept up to date 
  • Handling returns for customers and estimating handing charges
  • Coordinating with other departments
  • Organising and coordinating collections
  • Scanning and filing of orders and other documentation 
  • Provide general administration including handling general enquiries over the phone/email
  • Assisting other team members with orders and helping other departments when the need arises
  • Supporting the Sales Department with catalogue requests and follow up calls along with new customer follow up calls
About You
Are available immediately for a 3-month contract as an Order Processer.
  • Previous administration and phone-based customer service experience
  • Strong customer focus is essential
  • Drive to always achieve the highest standards
  • Great attention to detail both numerically and written
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks in order of importance
  • Confident with clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Committed to succeed and develop as part of a growing business
  • Self-motivated and crucially a ‘can-do ‘attitude
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Any experience working with CRM systems would be an advantage
